About the Editors of the Green Executive Recruiter Directory

In 2009, combining their career management and technical expertise, with their passion for the environment, Chris and Tracey de Morsella formed Green Growth Ventures LLC, a company dedicated to informing the world about green opportunities that can benefit all. The first resource the husband and wife team developed was the Green Economy Post, a blog portal that provides site visitors with green career information, green industry news, advice and timely commentary. The Green Executive Recruiter Directory is the first information product in a series that they plan to produce for professionals working to create a sustainable world.

Meet Chris de Morsella

Chris de Morsella comes from a software engineering background in which he has mastered many aspects of software architecture & design, programming and deployment. He has designed a number of applications; including a compound document publishing architecture for regulatory submissions, for Liquent, a division of Thompson Publishing. At the Associated Press, Chris worked with senior editors at facilities around the world, to develop a solution for replacing existing photo editorial systems with an integrated international content management solution. More recently he has gained considerable expertise in programming for small mobile devices, including for Windows SmartPhone, Microsoft Automotive computer and the Rhapsody music player client software as well.

For many years now, Chris has been an active voice in the green/ cleantech economy arena. His interests include: green building/ architecture and urban design; smart grid/ smart appliances; the cloud/ virtualization and green computing; the semantic web and smart self healing systems; geo-thermal energy; renewable energy including solar, wind, wave, micro-hydro, smart growth, organic farming, earth building and permaculture to name a few. Meet Tracey de Morsella

Tracey de Morsella began her career as associate editor for US Technology Magazine where she created a career column entitled Career Tracks. She drew on that experience to launch Delaware Valley Network, a company that published a monthly newspaper and hosted networking events for professionals living in the Greater Philadelphia area. Years later, Tracey leveraged the contacts and resources she acquired to become an executive recruiter specializing in technical and diversity search. She has conducted recruitment training seminars for Wachovia Bank, the US Geological Survey and the US Postal Service, as well as authored, the Diversity Recruitment Advertising Toolkit. Tracey also made use of this expertise to manage the Merrill Lynch Information Technology Intranet, as well administer marketing and newsletter publishing for BDPA IT Thought Leaders.

Tracey has written career and recruitment articles for numerous publications and web portals including Woman Engineer Magazine, Monster.com, About.com Job Search Channel, Workplace Diversity Magazine, and Society for Human Resource Management web site, NSBE Engineering Magazine, HR.com, and Human Resource Consultants Association Newsletter. Her green business and sustainability articles have appeared on Reuters Green Business, Fast Company, The Matter Network, Industrial Maintenance & Plant Operation, CleanTechies, and Chem.Info.
