The purpose of this event is to help grow the San Diego green workforce by presenting the latest data on green careers, educational opportunities, and a line of sight to the green work projects that will be commencing in the region in 2009/2010. This full afternoon will help those interested in green careers and businesses make informed choices about how best to transition, prepare, and position themselves for success.  There will be over 30 exhibitors: educational and vocational institutions as well as trade groups, green non-profit organizations, and career coaches on the exhibit floor. Come learn how to accelerate your green career.  Many new green certification programs will be available this fall.  Dislocated workers, as well as many others, may be eligible for Workforce Investment Act (WIA) tuition reimbursement.  Learn about how you can start on a path to become part of San Diego’s Green Workforce.
