american geophysical unionOverview: American Geophysical Union is offering $5000 12 months Graduate Fellowship for Doctoral students in geophysical sciences arena who will be covering atmospheric sciences, biogeosciences, geodesy, geomagnetism and paleomagnetism, hydrology, ocean sciences, planetary sciences, seismology, space physics, aeronomy, tectonophysics, volcanology, geochemistry and petrology.

Eligibility Requirements: Applicants must be U.S Citizens or Permanent Residence pursuing degree from recognized Institution.

Award Amount: The Graduate Fellowship is for 12 months assigned to $5000 for Doctoral students.

How to Apply:
1) A cover letter with vita.
2) Applicants must submit official transcripts of their graduate and undergraduate studies.
3) A 10-page detailed description of applicants dessertation topic and proposed research plan.
4)To be accepted for the travel grant applicants must have cleared all the comprehensive exams with good standing.

5) 3 letters of recommendation. One from Dessertation Director

6)Cover letter, vita and Dessertation paper must be sent to AGU Chairperson Dr. kristine harper at kcharper@fsu.edu.

7)All official College Transcripts [Graduate and Undergradate] must be sent directly from college registrar’s office.

All recommendation letters must be sent via email to kcharper@fsu.edu.
