Jill BellengerAs founding partner and principal of 3 Design Consulting, LLC, Jill Bellenger established the company in early 2009 with her partner, Ed LeBard. Ms. Bellenger serves as a Landscape Designer / Certified Professional Horticulturist. Her core expertise includes conservation landscaping, LEED related project scope, graphic design, professional development programming and green building advocacy. She worked on various design projects totaling roughly $300 million during her professional career. Her projects were based in Maryland, District of Columbia, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Delaware, New York, New Jersey, Texas and Oklahoma.

Ms. Bellenger works with clients on individual projects, and stays informed on the most current LEED ratings. She manages LEED related research, calculations, documentation, application and the registration / certification process. She also assists the project team in LEED related plan, specification development and review relating to Sustainable Site (SS), Water Efficiency (WE) and Materials and Resources (MR).  Ms. Bellenger assists clients through the application for the following LEED Rating Systems: LEED for New Construction (LEED-NC), LEED for Core and Shell (LEED-C&S), LEED for Commercial Interiors (LEED-CI), LEED for Existing Buildings; Operations and Maintenance (LEED-EBO&M), LEED for Schools (LEED-Schools), LEED for Homes (LEED-Homes).

Ms. Bellenger can be seen giving lectures in the area on sustainability issues relating to green schools, conservation landscaping, and advising the corporate world on becoming more sustainable. Ms. Bellenger is also a contributing editor for the firm’s monthly e-newsletter “Sustainability Monthly Report” which has a growing list of 2,000+ industry related professionals.
